Disney’s animated series Zuckers Adventures is now a real thing.
The company announced today that it has acquired the rights to produce the game with studio Digital Chocolate.
The acquisition is the latest step in Disney’s long-term development of the franchise.
Zuck’s Adventures will launch this fall in the United States, the UK, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, Singapore, and Turkey.
It will be available for download on Steam, the PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One.
“As one of the most iconic and beloved characters in Disney history, Zuck has always been a special part of Disney Parks and Imagineers’ lives,” Disney Interactive vice president of licensing and merchandising Brian Cappelli said in a press release.
“With this acquisition, we’re giving fans a chance to experience our animated series in a way they’ve never experienced before.”
Zuck will feature a new playable character, the Zuck, and will be able to communicate with animals in a new way.
“We are excited to continue developing Zuck and other Disney Parks characters with Digital Chocolate, which brings a wealth of experiences to Disney fans across all platforms,” Cappella said.
Disney has made a number of big changes in the past year, such as canceling the “Muppets Most Wanted” spinoff.
The new Zuck Adventures game will feature new gameplay elements, including the ability to interact with Zuck in a live-action, interactive world.
It also features new animal companions, including a new zebra, a raccoon, and a penguin.
